Glass Mask Theatre is proud to present “Talk To Me”, written by the award-winning” playwright, Neil Flynn.
“Talk to Me” is an epic theatrical adventure spanning 170 years of human communication. Featuring a famous gallery of characters, this production dramatises the fevered desire on both sides of the Atlantic, with the advent of electricity, to connect. An obsession with revolutionary potential fueled by a paper merchant from New York who, to achieve his dream of connecting the new world and the old world, must seek to do the impossible – conquer the Atlantic Ocean.
“Talk To Me” will be directed by GMT’s artistic director, Rex Ryan, and will feature Evanne Kilgallon and Kyle Hixon.
Neil Flynn is an award winning writer-director for stage, screen and radio and an award-winning poet. His play THE SNOWMAN won BBC World Service / British Council International Radio Drama Playwriting competition and will be produced by the BBC in 2022.
His play GRAVITY (A LOVE STORY) world premieres in Ireland in February 2022 directed by Conall Morrison. He was recently awarded an Arts Council response Commission to write & direct a new short drama for stage.
