Paven Virk’s comedy drama SAVE OUR SCHOOL DINNERS…JAMIE! Plays at Belgrade Theatre from 12-15 September

Save Our School Dinners… Jamie! returns after the success of last years showcase as part International Women’s Day. This new comedy-drama is about a group of dinner ladies, living in the Midlands but from all over the world, who aim to save the only school in their small community one dinner at a time… ‘Curry mash anyone?’

Paven Virk (Screen International’s “Stars of Tomorrow”, Paven has been part of the Royal Court Young Writers, Theatre Royal Stratford East Musical Writing Residency and National Theatre Writers attachment. She was part of Working Title Films’ prestigious residency at the Hay Festival. Her work has been on at Hampstead Theatre, National Theatre, Tricycle Theatre, Old Rep & Belgrade Theatre. Her first feature film will shoot next year and she is currently working on a new TV series. She returns to the Midlands to work with home grown talent).
