Jo Bloom adaptation RIDLEY ROAD starts shooting!

The BBC is adapting a dark love story with the help of actress and screenwriter Sarah Solemani, who has penned the project.
Based on Jo Bloom’s novel Ridley Road, published in 2014, the series will tell the story of Vivien, a young Jewish woman living in London in the 1960s and who goes undercover at a fascist organisation.
The four-part drama went into production in September 2020, featuring an award-winning cast that includes Rory Kinnear (Years and Years) as the leader of a neo-Nazi movement, while newcomer Aggi O’Casey leads the project as Vivien.
