Jaime Winstone, Sophia Bush, Clifford Samuel and Ricky Champ to star in 2:22 A GHOST STORY, Directed by Matthew Dunster, from 14th May at the Apollo Theatre
April 17, 2023 |

The play, written by award-winning writer Danny Robins and directed by Matthew Dunster, has received solid reviews and been a hit with audiences since its premiere in 2021 at the Noël Coward Theatre. The production will begin its 18-week season on 14 May 2023, making it the sixth season of the play overall.

2:22 A Ghost Story tells the story of Jenny, who believes her new home is haunted, but her husband Sam is skeptical. Alongside a couple of friends they agree to stay up until 2:22 am – a time that she believes to be pivotal for spooky goings-on.

The production has enjoyed a successful run at the Gielgud Theatre, the Criterion, and the Lyric Theatre. According to producers, this fifth move breaks a record for most venues played by the same show – with three Shaftesbury Avenue houses now occupied during the piece’s life.

Set to appear at the Apollo Theatre will be Clifford Samuel (Boudica) as Sam, Jaime Winstone (Kidulthood) as Jenny, One Tree Hill’s Sophia Bush as Lauren and Ricky Champ (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) as Ben.
