Omnibus presents an afternoon with Jaki McCarrick, author of; The Visit (winner of the 2010 Wasafiri Short Fiction Prize), a collection of short stories The Scattering, and the plays Belfast Girls (shortlisted for the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize) and Leopoldville (2010 Papatango Award for New Writing). Jaki was the 2013 writer-in-residence at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris and is currently completing her first novel and working on a new play. She has just been shortlisted for the 2014 Tony Doyle Award She’ll be sharing her experiences of writing across different genres and artforms and what inspires her.
