Given that amateur licence fees are payable per performance, our licensing of shows to profit-share companies playing at Fringe venues for a run of three weeks or more takes this into account.

Rather than paying, for example, £40 for each performance – in effect wiping out your budget and therefore making it impossible to put on the show at all – we would charge a flat royalty of 10% of gross box office receipts net of VAT and credit card commission (plus VAT if appropriate). An advance payment against future royalties will be negotiated and paid on signature of a licence agreement.

Depending on the length of the run, royalties must be paid within two weeks of the last performance OR at the end of every calendar month there is a performance of the play.
