Sally Robinson

A Humanities and Golden Globe recipient, Sally was honoured by PEN USA for her work on the Emmy nominated “Iron Jawed Angels.”

She is a graduate of the University of Rochester where she was a member of the Arts Council and served on the President’s Advisory Committee. Sally also holds an MFA from Cornell University. Prior to her career in television and film, she taught literature at the University of Cincinnati and is also a published short story writer. An acknowledged script doctor, she has done dozens of uncredited rewrites in television and film.


She is currently working on SHAKESPEARE’S DAUGHTER to be directed by Mike Barker and writing a television pilot for Overbrook Entertainment. Sally also writes for stage and is collaborating with David Foster and Susan Birkenhead on the musical Betty Boop. Partnered with author Russell Banks, she will executive produce a film adaptation of his book “Rule of the Bone,” directed by Debra Granik.


She is working on her adaptation of A PASSION FOR MORE as a serial for Kay Mellor’s Rollem Productions. The original series AIRPORT TRASH and THE MARRIAGE BED are available for review.
