David is a playwright and screenwriter, who is currently working with Lionsgate, developing his 8 x 30 minute drama, SHOUT.
Previous to this he has spent the past four years writing pilots on spec. This began in 2013 with a 30 minute comedy about hacktivists called Blue Goo, which was taken on and developed by BBC in house. He then wrote a 25 minute sitcom called Friends You Hate, about a group of friends who don’t like each other. Last year he wrote The Undiscovered, a 60 minute returning drama about an art assistant who kidnaps his daughter and goes on the run, forging art to survive.
Prior to switching to screenwriting David wrote predominantly for theatre. His first play FLUSH premiered at the Soho Theatre, and this led to his participation with schemes and/or attachments at the Royal Court, BBC, the Old Vic, Nabakov Theatre company and Tristan Bates Theatre.
