Carol Noble has just had her first animated feature released worldwide: Ballerina/Leap! For which she wrote the script and spent 3 years in Paris as creative co-producer. During this time in Paris, working as an in-house writer for QUAD films, she also co-wrote Pere Noel, starring Tahar Rahim.
Carol started her writing career in theatre as founder of Red Rag theatre group and then began working in film and TV after finishing a Masters in Screenwriting. Early on she wrote for long running series: Eastenders, The Bill and Holby City.
She is a BAFTA, RTS and BAA award winning writer for children’s animation, having worked on Charlie and Lola, Baby Jake, Toby’s Travelling Circus, Little Princess, Postman Pat and many others. Most recently moving into directing and writing for animation with PIXELARITY a YouTube/Maker/Disney project that had over 27 million hits and was nominated for a Broadcast Digital award.
She is currently developing several animation, TV and film projects, including 15 Books a co-production between Quad films in Paris and Hanway Films in the UK, The Perfect Mother a TV series co-pro between France and Germany, and Karma a TV thriller with Stevie Lee at Runaway Fridge.
She is also nervously returning to theatre, writing her first new piece for 15 years, called Coach/Chariot/Coda.
