MOMENT by Claire Dyer

On a Tuesday in March Fern and Elliott meet unexpectedly at Paddington Station after a separation of twenty-five years. Seemingly settled with the choices they’ve made, meeting one another again shocks them both and catapults them back to the past; causing them to examine the lives they live now more closely. As the day progresses, their ‘what if’ question raises its head and looks them both squarely in the eyes. What if the moment twenty-five years before when Fern confronted Elliott about his infidelity had had a different outcome? How would their lives have worked out instead?

Their day is thrown off course and, when it draws to a close they are faced with three possible ways for it to end.
